WHY WE TUTOR

In the UK we have to follow the National Curriculum and its particular working methods; each person, accesses and understands this content differently because we are not all the same. We are individual and therefore we should be treated as such, which is why we disagree with institutional tuition centres. Most often they are not qualified teachers, so they cannot cater for learners’ individual needs, despite the ‘individualised learning plans’ they promise. Pre-populated assessment flow charts and mass printed worksheets mean that nothing is tailored for individuality – that is not cool!
